Hazel Infotech Limited successfully participated in Engineering Expo - a multi-location trade show on Engineering & Manufacturing - held at Rudrapur, Uttarakhand from 23-26 September 2011.
Engineering Expo is one of India's largest multi-location SME gatherings. This year, Engineering Expo was launched in Rudrapur.
Rudrapur, located in the state of Uttarakhand, is fast emerging as a leading investment destination. In recent times, it has attracted several sizeable investments and a number of reputed corporate houses like Dabur India, Delta India, Bajaj Auto, Britannia, Nestle, Ashok Leyland, Zandu Pharma and Tata Motors, are setting up their manufacturing units here, which will soon emerge as a major industrial employment hub.
Rudrapur is well connected to Delhi and is close to major towns of Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh including Haridwar & Udhamsingh Nagar - two key industrial hubs.
The Uttarakhand government has set up the State Infrastructure & Industrial Development Corporation of Uttaranchal Ltd. (SIDCUL) in order to strengthen Uttarakhand's industrial development. Several new industries are now queuing up at the SIDCUL Industrial Estate. National Small Industries Corporation too has more than 150 members in Uttarakhand area.
Recently, addressing the concluding session of a two-day workshop on mutual cooperation between Uttarakhand and 12 foreign missions - Georgia, Bangladesh, Burundi, Nepal, Gabon, Madagascar, Nigeria, Malaysia, Trinidad, Tobago, Male and Senagal - Uttarakhand CM, Mr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said being a more than 10-year-old Himalayan state, Uttarakhand has a vast investment potential in areas like tourism, agriculture, pharmaceutical, forestry and industrial sectors.
